Some peculiar movies
Click the images if you would like to view the theatrical trailers on YouTube. Please, do be a little cautious, though. While all of these movies have some content that is peculiar, they also have much that is not.
Party time!
Back in 2011, I made up a joke. It’s not the funniest joke ever, but I thought I’d share it anyway. I hope you like it.
There are a few things worth noting first, though. At the time, I was much more spiritually/religiously naïve than I am these days. I didn’t know yet that not everyone observes Sunday as the Sabbath. Also, I imagined Heaven to be a place where there is no economy, people do not have jobs, etc. I imagined the angels spending most of their time worshiping and socializing. I imagined Heaven to be a very fun place.
So, here’s the joke…
Imagine, if you will, a new arrival from Earth meeting Saint Peter at the gates of Heaven. The new arrival and Saint Peter handle their official at-the-gates-of-Heaven business, and then Saint Peter gives them a quick explanation of what they can expect to find in Heaven. “Welcome to Heaven. Here, we party every night like it’s Saturday night… except for Saturday night”.
(Because folks have to get up early for church on Sunday. Get it? Get it?)
Is it a knee-slapper? Is it a groaner? I don’t know. I do remember, though, that at the time, I thought it was just about the funniest thing ever. 🙂
God bless all of you!
A couple of distinctions
Here are a couple of distinctions which I learned of several years ago that helped me to better understand God and my experiences with him.
God is All Knowing, but that does not mean All Aware.
God is Omnipresent, but that does not mean All-Seeing.
God does not suffer any lack in ability. God certainly could choose to be All Aware and/or All-Seeing if he wanted to. God doesn’t want that though, so he handles his own personal experiences differently than some might expect. God chooses what he is and is not aware of. God chooses what he does and does not see.
God bless everyone!
Bunny Rabbits!

Several years ago, I saw an episode of South Park that seemed to try to explain how the Easter Bunny became the mascot for the Easter holiday. The episode is now just a vague recollection for me, but I think the explanation given was something ridiculous (big surprise, it’s a comedy show) and maybe even profane (big surprise, it’s South Park). Anyhow, it got me thinking about what the real reason might be. Here’s what I came up with. It’s just my own personal theory. I definitely could be incorrect about this…
I think everyone has a special affinity for something. For me it’s cats. I love cats! I watch cats on Twitch everyday. I always stop and talk to cats if I see any while I’m out walking. I plan to foster shelter cats eventually when I can financially afford to do so. For other people it might be tigers, sunflowers, pigs, Ford Mustangs, etc.
I think Jesus loves bunny rabbits! I think God has made the Easter holiday (or soon-to-be-holiday after the resurrection of Jesus is confirmed) extra special for Jesus by including bunny rabbits as a part of the occasion.
God bless everyone!
Some Q’s & A’s
Here are some questions and answers on some topics that I think some people have been wondering about…
- Q: Where was I born?
- A: I’m not sure where on Earth I was born, but it was probably in San Diego, California. Hopefully, God will make this clear to me eventually.
- Q: Did my mom and dad do what moms and dads usually do to have me?
- A: Nope! And I doubt they’ve ever even met one another.
- Q: Am I some sort of laboratory-created person?
- A: Nope!
- Q: Do I know that I am not eating cows, pigs, goats, cats, chickens, etc?
- A: Yep!
- Q: Do I have any parasites?
- A: Nope!
- Q: How long has Jesus been in the Small Place?
- A: I don’t know for sure, but since about 2015–2018, I think.
- Q: Does the Small Place have any other name?
- A: Not that I know of.
- Q: Have I ever been to the Small Place?
- A: Never in full physical form, but I have been there in part several times and I was able to glimpse it.
- Q: What is it like in the Small Place?
- A: It is very much like “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll, if it were a sci-fi/fantasy novel.
- Q: Have I ever been to the Big Place?
- A: Nope! I understand it is very futuristic compared to Earth, though.
- Q: How many Peace-Guys are there?
- A: Seven on Earth; gazillions back home in the Big Place.
- Q: Are Peace-Guys cockroaches or ants?
- A: Nope!
- Q: Are we just barely scratching at the tip of the iceberg of amazing and good things to come?
- A: Yes!
God bless everyone!

Here are some things I’ve come across in my experiences that seem like they possibly could be clues to something when considered together…
God taught me that Superman is part of a group of five heroes working for good in the Small-place.
“5” Seems to me to be a very strange name for a brand of gum. Click here to view the Wikipedia article about this gum.
Here is more that is perhaps worth considering…
Let’s go Scooby-Doos! This may be a mystery that needs solving!
If you discover anything you would like to share with Leader-Guy and Leader-Guy2, here is an email link.
